The ambiance of this friendly community warmly greets each visitor entering Discovery Point. The cozy living room and spacious mail and information room wrap around the main lobby easy access. The beautiful dining room features windows overlooking the heated pool and gardens. Comfortable living rooms are scattered throughout the community and brightly decorated laundry rooms are conveniently located. The private dining room is ‘close enough’ to show off guests and perfect for an intimate gathering of family and friends. The card room/library is full and a separate reading room includes a ‘reader’ for people with low vision. The multi-purpose room hosts a variety of fun activities including resident theater productions. There are meandering courtyards with raised gardens for resident enjoyment, a billiards room, hair salon and wellness clinic round out the community amenities. The community is close to a multitude of churches and restaurants, Banner Baywood Hospital, Superstition Springs Mall, Arizona Heart Institute and the Red Mountain Multigenerational Center. Supportive services for residents requiring a little extra care are available on an ala carte basis through Sunrise Health.

Discovery Point apartments are spacious and bright with walk-in closets, 24-hour emergency call system in bedroom and bathroom, abundant storage, individual temperature controls in each apartment and full kitchens to enhance independent living. Four elevators make access to all apartments easy and the entire community features smoke detectors and an automatic fire extinguishing system. Rent at Discovery Point include utilities, two meals daily served table-side (a healthy full breakfast and delicious dinner), weekly housekeeping, flat linen service and a comprehensive transportation program. Discovery Point partners with East Valley Senior Services as an income-qualified community; residency requires application acceptance and age and income restrictions apply. Residents qualify to live in this lovely community with an annual maximum income of $25,260* for one person and $28,860* for two people.
